Getting Your New Artificial Christmas Tree Home

Chances are, if you’re in the market for a new pre-lit artificial Christmas tree, you haven’t arrived at the Christmas tree sale unprepared. If you’re driving an oversized car, van, or truck, you’re in luck. Purchasing a big artificial tree and getting it back to your home shouldn’t be a problem. On the other hand, if you drive a tiny eco-car, there’s a good chance you’re not going to get that full-sized artificial tree into the backseat! If you’re in the market for an artificial Christmas tree over four feet in height, consider borrowing a vehicle or having the store deliver the tree to your home. The last thing you want to do is spend your hard-earned money on a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree, only to find it crushed or damaged once you get it home. If your only option is to put the tree in the trunk of your car, make sure to bring rope or bungee cord ties to keep the trunk from lifting while you’re driving. If the tree sticks out from the back of the car at all, you’ll have to place a piece of red fabric, or a red tag of some kind. That keeps other drivers aware and safe, alerting them of your cargo before they get too close. You’re going to love your new pre-lit Christmas tree, just make sure to get it (and you) home in one piece.
