What should I consider before heading out to the Christmas tree sale?

Pre-Christmas Tree Sale Preparation

It's time to head out to the big Christmas tree sale and you know exactly what you're looking for, what to ask for and where to go. Right? If not, here are a few things to take into consideration before leaving the house.

1) Do some research before the Christmas tree sale. You know the sale is coming eventually, so spend your time determining which stores sell the best quality trees.

2) Know what you want. These days, good quality artificial Christmas trees are made to look like your favorite forest pine, spruce or fir tree. Are you hankering for a full-sized pine tree look-a-like this year? Knowing what you're looking for will help narrow down your choices and save you time.

3) When looking at assembled artificial trees in the store, look beyond the fancy decorations. They could be covering up some serious tree quality issues. If you were to take all of the decorations off of that tree, would it look real? Could you see right through to the base of the tree? Is the tree color natural looking, or alien-green colored?

4) What's the price of the tree? Make sure the price of the tree is in line with the quality. You can get a good quality pre-lit artificial Christmas tree for under $300, depending on the size of the tree.

Post holiday shopping is hectic and exhausting, so why not arm yourself with knowledge before heading out to the big Christmas tree sale this year?
